1. Get 4 Mason or Jelly Jars.

Your jars will be your container for your candle.  Have fun with even decorating your jar if you’d like, after all, the prettier the jar, the better.

 

 

2. 40 Drops – Cedarwood, Lavender, Lemon, and Thieves Essential Oils.

You can use your own combination of oils, but these are known for repelling biting mosquitoes.

 

 

3. 2 Fresh Lemons, 2 Fresh Limes.

Lemons and Limes are a great way to at a bit of a citrus scent to your candle.

 

 

4. 8 Sprigs Fresh Rosemary.

Rosemary is a lovely herb with very aromatic properties, making it an excellent choice for a craft like this.

 

 

 

5. Floating Tea Light Candles.

Lastly, your floating tea lights will easily distribute the oils and aroma into the air around the candle, while not only repelling mosquitoes but also filling the air with the pleasant smells of summer.
