How It All Began
While our team was formed by Ron Murphy in 2001, it really started back in 1980 when Ron joined his father-in-law Jack Lewis in real estate with CENTURY 21. Ron became a partner in the business and eventually took over when Jack retired. In 1994, Ron decided to focus on his personal real estate career and sold the company to Daniel Jacuzzi, who welcomed the offices into the Select Group, creating our local CENTURY 21 Select Real Estate.
After selling the business, Ron quickly became the top producing CENTURY 21 agent in Sacramento and the Sierra Nevada region. Needing help to keep up with the demand of his growing business, his son joined the team in 1999 and his daughter joined in 2001, at which point our team was born.
Since 2002, our team has become well decorated, earning awards for both production and for consistent high remarks from our clients on surveys they complete at the end of each closed escrow. In 2006, we were inducted into the CENTURY 21 Honor Society and continue to consistently rank in the Top 100 Teams nationwide for CENTURY 21 LLC.
Serving clients throughout the Sacramento area, we focus on residential real estate, representing buyers and sellers of equity sales, bank owned properties and short sales. We sell single family homes, duplexes, condos, townhomes, and land. We have a thorough understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, Cal-Vet, and CALPERS financing and assist our clients in locating down payment assistance programs, when applicable.
As we have continued to achieve a great level of success, our team has grown throughout the years, to include more agents and support staff. It is our goal to continue to serve our clientele, exceeding their expectations and earning their recommendations.
